CARDIOLOGY

Cardiology is the branch of medicine that studies heart and circulatory system diseases. Cardiologists diagnose, treat, and monitor conditions such as heart attacks, arrhythmias, heart failure, high blood pressure, aneurysms, and other heart-related disorders.

RADIOLOGY

Radiology is a medical imaging method that uses radiation to display the structures and functions of the body. It helps doctors diagnose diseases, develop treatment plans, and monitor the effectiveness of treatments.

INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Interventional radiology is a therapeutic branch of radiology. Using imaging guidance, it involves performing minimally invasive procedures through small skin incisions — about the size of a needle hole — to reach the targeted area in the body with guidewires and instruments.

ORTHOPEDICS

Orthopedics is the branch of medicine concerned with preventing, diagnosing, and treating disorders of the skeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY

Coronary angiography is a medical procedure used to visualize the coronary arteries that supply blood to the heart. During this procedure, a thin tube called a catheter is inserted into a blood vessel in the arm or leg and guided to the heart. A contrast agent is then injected into the catheter to make the arteries visible.

CVD
(CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES)

CVD stands for cardiovascular diseases, a term that encompasses conditions such as heart attack, heart failure, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, heart valve disorders, and arrhythmias.

CVD is the leading cause of death worldwide, responsible for approximately 18 million deaths each year – accounting for about 32% of all global deaths.
